For De Essenburgh Castle in Hierden, we completed a total entrance renovation, perfectly timed for the upcoming wedding season. A stylish and sustainable solution that enhances the grandeur of the castle.

The challenge: an entrance that matches the allure of the castle

De Essenburgh Castle is a popular location for weddings and exclusive events. After several renovations, it was time to update the entrance and bring it fully in line with the stately appearance of the building.

The wish was clear: a warm, regal entrance that would immediately impress guests and bridal couples. The solution needed to be weather-resistant, suitable for intensive use, and securely attached to the stairs and landing, without detracting from the historical character of the location.

The solution: Dura Outdoor runner in red with a stylish finish

Together with the owner, we selected the red Dura Outdoor runner. This vibrant color perfectly matches the romantic and regal ambiance of the castle.

The runner was custom-cut and meticulously installed from the main entrance to the stately doors. For added safety and a neat finish, custom-made rods were used, ensuring the runner is securely fastened on the stairs and landing.

Additionally, we installed stylish stanchions with red ropes. These create an organized and elegant pathway, enhancing the classic character of the entrance. The combination of color, material, and finish creates a complete and harmonious overall impression.

An entrance that exceeds expectations

The result is an entrance that immediately exudes atmosphere and class. Guests are welcomed upon arrival with a stylish red carpet that perfectly matches the romantic setting of Kasteel De Essenburgh.
