During the coronavirus pandemic, we supported various GGD (public health service) locations in the Netherlands with stanchions and related accessories. A practical solution that optimally organized safety, distance, and flow.

The challenge

During the pandemic, testing and vaccination sites were set up at a rapid pace across the Netherlands. Safety and structure were central to this. Visitors had to be able to easily maintain 1.5 meters distance, without confusion or bottlenecks.

The locations had to deal with large visitor flows daily. This required clear routing, stable barriers, and flexible solutions that could be quickly installed. In addition, everything had to look professional and be resistant to intensive use.

The solution: widespread use of bollards and disinfectant dispensers

As a major supplier of crowd control barriers, we were able to respond quickly and deliver large quantities. For various GGD (Municipal Health Service) locations, including the XL test site in Breepark Breda, we supplied and installed crowd control barriers with retractable belts and accompanying accessories.

The crowd control barriers created clear walking paths and queues, automatically ensuring visitors maintained a safe distance from each other. In combination with floor stickers and routing, a clear and controlled environment was created.

Our product range includes various finishes, such as brass, polished chrome, brushed chrome, matte black, and high-gloss white. We also supplied disinfection columns that offered extra safety at entrances and waiting areas. Thanks to our extensive stock and flexibility, we were able to quickly respond to the needs of the GGD.
