With Wealth Shown To Scale, KochxBos developed an exhibition that made inequality in wealth visible in an impressive way. The project combined aesthetics with social urgency and called for an entrance that made this significance immediately tangible.

The aim was to create a clear transition between the outside world and the exhibition, drawing visitors into the atmosphere of the project even before they entered. The floor solution had to be visually powerful, lie perfectly flat and suit the artistic concept without detracting from the content.

Two striking orange carpets were used for this project. The choice of this colour was deliberate: orange radiates energy, urgency and connection. This made the carpet not just a practical entrance, but an integral part of the overall experience.

The carpets provided clear routing and marked the transition into the exhibition space. The strong colour contrast created immediate visual impact. The floor thus became more than functional; it became a carrier of the story.
