During the Global Mercy Experience in the port of Rotterdam, we supplied our Dallas runner for this special event. A stylish and sustainable foundation for an exhibition with global impact.

The challenge

The Global Mercy, Mercy Ships' newest and largest hospital ship, was temporarily docked in the port of Rotterdam for an exclusive public experience. During the Global Mercy Experience, visitors were given a unique look on board and insight into the medical work the ship performs in developing countries.

The event's goal was twofold: to create awareness and to attract new donors and volunteers. The flooring solution had to match Mercy Ships' professional and international image, fit within the corporate identity, and withstand intensive use by thousands of visitors.

The solution: Dallas in sea blue

For this project, we supplied our Dallas runner in a fresh sea blue color. This was used as flooring within the exhibition space and in the presentation rooms onboard.

The choice for Dallas was deliberate. This collection is known for its luxurious appearance and durable quality. Thanks to its strong composition, the runner is ideally suited for intensive use. Despite the constant foot traffic, the flooring remained presentable and sleek throughout the entire event.

The blue hue perfectly matched the maritime setting and the Mercy Ships corporate identity, seamlessly bringing together appearance and content.

A solid foundation for a mission with impact

The Global Mercy Experience showed visitors how medical care and development projects are implemented worldwide. It was an honor for us to contribute to an event with such a meaningful mission with our Dallas carpet.
