Dressing sixty display windows across seven stores requires careful preparation. Together with the Visual team of de Bijenkorf, the development of the concept started as early as summer. The central theme revolved around a distinct pink colour scheme that was intended to enhance the festive and luxurious atmosphere of the presentation.<!--en--><!--en-->In addition to appearance, sustainability played an important role. De Bijenkorf places high demands on the materials used in their stores. Products must be fully recyclable or made from recycled raw materials. The goal was therefore to create a creative and high-quality presentation that simultaneously met these strict sustainability standards.

For this project, we supplied special pink carpet that fully complies with De Bijenkorf's sustainability criteria. After the Christmas period, the carpet will be collected and recycled, so that it can serve as a raw material for new products.

The carpet was used in various ways within the shop windows and store displays. It not only functioned as floor covering, but also as wall covering and even as covering for furniture and decorative elements such as fireplaces. For a neat finish, we provided various edge solutions, including a pink festooned edge and a golden transition profile.

The installation largely took place at night, so that the stores could remain open to visitors during the day.
