Wealth Shown To Scale – KochxBos × GJ Floors

Wealth Shown To Scale: KochxBos x GJ Floors

Oct 15, 2025

An entrance with meaning We were asked to contribute to KochxBos 's unique art project, "Wealth Shown To Scale," which enhanced not only the design but also the overall experience. Two striking orange carpets gave the entrance a powerful look and made it clear even before visitors entered that something special awaited them. About KochxBos & the project KochxBos is a gallery and art platform dedicated to projects that bring together art, experience, and social issues. With "Wealth Shown To Scale," they impressively visualized what wealth inequality looks like when literally magnified. The project combined aesthetics with urgency and invited visitors to reflect on one of the most important issues of our time. The power of color and material The choice of orange was deliberate. This color radiates energy and connection and immediately captured visitors' attention. The runners served not only as a practical entrance but were an integral part of the experience. They marked the transition from the outside world to the world of the exhibition and guided visitors to the heart of the artwork. Result and impact Visitors entered the exhibition via orange carpets and were immediately drawn into the project's atmosphere. The contrast and powerful color made the entrance more than just a passageway. It became the first step in an experience that was both seen and felt. Why this project is special For us, this collaboration demonstrates that a runner can be more than just a floor covering. It's a way to set expectations, create atmosphere, and reinforce a story. In the case of KochxBos, the runners contributed to a project that combines art and awareness, and that makes us proud. Complete your event Want your entrance to make the right impression? Why choose a runner with a print?

A printed runner, for example, adds a touch of character to your office or showroom. Whether you choose a grass print, ocean print, or a vintage wood look, you'll add ambiance to the space and create a professional impression for visitors.

Are the Tokyo Specials suitable for everyday use?

Yes, the Tokyo Specials are high-quality and perfectly suited for light daily use, such as in an entrance hall, meeting room, or showroom. They are sturdy, decorative, and sit smoothly on the floor.

Are these runners safe for public office spaces?

Yes. All Tokyo Specials runners have a Cfl-s1 fire class certification. This means they are safe for use in public and commercial spaces, including offices.

How do I maintain these runners?

Vacuuming is usually sufficient to keep the runner clean. For light soiling, you can use a damp cloth. For long-term use, it's wise not to place the runner in heavily used or wet areas.

Are these runners suitable as temporary styling on a photo set or exhibition stand?

Yes. The striking prints and excellent quality make Tokyo Specials popular with stylists and trade show organizers. They instantly create atmosphere, are quick to install, and easy to remove.

Can I also use a printed runner as a temporary rug or decoration in my home?

Yes, that's possible, especially if you're having a party or want a different look. Keep in mind, however, that it's not a full-fledged carpet, but a temporary, decorative runner. For short-term use, it's definitely a nice eye-catcher.
